October 15, 2013 – Enjoying Krug Champagne Responsibly

The Associates’ Responsible Investment practice was formally launched, with Build Your Own Charity (B.Y.O.C.) as the flagship program, over a charity lunch at Catalunya on October 15^th, 2013.

Mr. Olivier Krug, the sixth generation of the House of Krug, attended the luncheon as our guest of honor and autographed every bottle of Krug Champagne in rare vintages and special format sold.  Chef Alain Devahive Tolosa designed a special menu of Catalan dishes for Mr. Krug and our 60 generous guests, with free flow of Krug Champagne.

The Associates were thrilled to have Mr. Krug’s presence and endorsement of our 1^st time charity program with a live Tweet.  Special thanks to our lovely friends from Moet Hennessey (Dorothy, Marc and Fabrice) and key donors (Dennis Lo, Mr. & Mrs. Eddie Tam, Daniel Luo and Samuel Chee) for making it such a bubbly and “profitable” event.

B.Y.O.C. was designed to promote donation from private individuals, or The Associates see as a private responsible investment, by offering proprietary and tailored charitable opportunities with high accountability, transparency, impactful social returns as well as lifestyle experiences with the beneficiaries.  Chicken Soup is the flagship B.Y.O.C., which serves under-privileged kids with after-school care services in Hong Kong.
