March 22, 2014 – FilmAid x ChickenSoup

photoOn 22nd March 2014, FilmAid Asia and Moët & Chandon co-hosted the 3rd annual Power of Film Gala at the Clearwater Bay Film Studios in Hong Kong.  This coincides

with the 15th Anniversary of FilmAid International, with A-list celebrities joining the celebration: Tilda Swinton, Fan Bing Bing, Donnie Yen, and Jamie Campbell Bower.

Since its presence in Hong Kong in 2011, FilmAid has been exploring partnership with local NGOs.  ChickenSoup was chosen to be their first partner with FilmAid, of which the partnership was officially announced at the Gala Dinner with a dedicated fund raising effort.

Our medium term goal is to provide film production training as a career option to students, who can ultimately produce films about their childhood with themselves as the story-teller to improve awareness in the media and donors community.

The Associates is pleased to receive this endorsement by FilmAid of the 7-month old charity model of ChickenSoup.  Through the power of film, we will be working closely together to raise international awareness on the plight of the local deprived community and projecting hope and saving lives of those in need.
