April 2016 – Coaching Local Startups

Our founder was featured in the inaugural episode of “Now Report” shown on Viu TV every Sunday at 7pm. This program focuses on recent social and political topics.

Edward was asked to vet a startup idea presented by a local recent graduate. For any startup grant to be effective, our founder commented that decision makers should have hands-on entrepreneurial experience (such as in startups, business-building or investment). This is in stark contrast with Viu TV’s research which revealed that less than one in four of those involved in a major startup grant program have such experience.
